Okay, first off I have to send huge personal apologies to Robyn Lee (of Ace Of Spades Tattoo in Toronto Ontario) for not posting this great spring time inspired tattoo when I got it. But there it is! spring and summer fresh strawberry picked or rather pricked with a single needle on her co worker and fellow tattooer Eugene. Remember We love your comments!

The Rules Of the Game! PLEASE READ!

CALLING ALL PROFESSIONALS!

This is a call out…this is a DARE!!! This a challenge to see if you care. TWO DOLLAR TATTOO PROJECT coined and founded by the eccentric curmudgeons: Philip Barbosa from Stick & Poke, George Brown and Matt Ellis of Seven Crowns Tattoo, and the lovely miss Alie K. at GoodTattoos.ca.

All artists participating will be expected to create unique works of tattoo art executed with only a single needle (as in single-needle configuration, No cheating using a round or a mag for any of the tattoo!). Line-work, shading, colour…all must be executed with the same needle! The size of the final product will be expected to fill the space of a "toonie", a Canadian two-dollar coin (approximately 28mm or 1 1/8” in diameter). The artist should utilize all of the space within the circle since in this case its not just size that matters. The Two Dollar Tattoo Project is expected to be both a game of camaraderie as well as a professional courtesy for artists and industry people. In the original spirit of the event we request that the only monetary exchange for the tattoo is to be a shiny Canadian $2 coin but really charge what you feel is appropriate if you are not tattooing a fellow industry professional. A $2 should used for sizing of the drawing and final stencil, and MUST be utilized as original proof of compliance with the set parameters.

Submission Image Requirements:

-You must only submit your own original tattoo work, flash is permitted but the tattoo
must be executed by you.

-The images must be In-Focus!

-The files as big and crisp as you can send them. A minimum of 800x600 pixels is appreciated. (please don't use your cell phone use a real camera).

-Images un-marked or altered, we will watermark them for you.

-The names of the artist and recipient of the work.

-The name of the shop where the tattooing took place (shop URL etc.), and any other points of interest you feel like sharing .

-We will only accept submissions from working professionals. "Kitchen Wizards" need not apply!

-Submissions can be made online via e-mail to: TwoDollarTattoo@gmail.com

Failure to comply with the above rules will result in an email from one of us asking you to read the rules again, Dumb Ass!
